I found this photo too fascinating not to share. I love perfume, but like many things that are easily obtainable in the marketplace, I rarely think about where they come from and the many hands that are needed to make every product I use.
Odors are up at the perfumery in Kelaa M’Gouna, Morocco, which pays this gentleman to toss rose petals in the air.

What a magical picture. I imagine that after years of working there the sweet smells must get impregnated on the workers’ body and hands. Maybe their clothes and bed linens permanently smell like roses too. :”

Salaams,
I read your blog in google reader. I would like it very much if you post the complete posts for the rss readers and not just a sentence. The whole purpose of subscribing is defeated otherwise.. I think..

Salaams all:
It is an incredible photo - I’m glad you all liked it. I can only imagine what being in that room smells like!
I suppose, though, that for most people even the most beautiful setting can become monotonous when it is one’s job. So I hope that his back and arms don’t hurt, that they give him frequent stretching breaks, a fair wage, and protective gloves should he need them.
Because if he is well taken care of, it makes the photo even more beautiful.
Hufeza, thanks for letting me know your preference, but this is what I prefer to do on my blog at this time.
Warmly,
Baraka
